« Pour son troisième album, Kacimi est entouré de son groupe live sobrement baptisé "La Mécréance" (Romano Bianchi, Vincent Breza, Anthony Savarit). Avec ce gang il ravive ses obsessions de bubble pop garage à guitares. Après différents singles ("Décroche", "Il fait si chaud ce soir", "Les Rois»...) et collaborations ces deux dernières années (Lionel Limiñana, Laurent Blot, Alexis Fugain, L’Eclair...),"Couronne d'Ephémères" se glisse dans la discographie de Kacimi comme une collection de chansons power pop dotée d'une poésie grinçante et débordante de tranches de vie ou l'absurdité devient une évidence. Que dis-je "une religion". Un troisième album sous forme de trip hédoniste, ou chaque mesure est un plaisir finement orchestré par La Mécréance, combo freakbeat genevois au déhanché surf et à l'humour caustique.

Avec ce quatuor électrique Kacimi reprend du Gainsbourg sans complexe, joue avec les codes yéyé et Mersey beat, tout en leur donnant une lecture actuelle et moderne. 13 titres ou se mêlent du rhythm n'blues mid tempo à des ballades amoureuses suspendues au temps (5 ans, Le Ballon songe, Dans des Histoires). Enregistré dans le Back To Mono Studio de Christian Hierro, après l'album "Gyrophare" en 2020 et "Asile" de The Rebels of Tijuana en 2018, "Couronne d'Ephémères" clôture cette trilogie de manière directe, sexy, et sans fioriture.

"For his third album, Kacimi is surrounded by his live band soberly named "La Mécréance" (Romano Bianchi, Vincent Breza, Anthony Savarit). With this gang he revives his bubble pop garage guitar obsessions. After various singles ("Décroche", "Il fait si chaud ce soir", "Les Rois"...) and collaborations these last two years (Lionel Limiñana, Laurent Blot, Alexis Fugain, L'Eclair...), "Couronne d'Ephémères" slips into Kacimi's discography as a collection of power pop songs endowed with a grating poetry and brimming with slices of life where absurdity
becomes an evidence. What shall I say "a religion". A third album in the form of a hedonistic trip, where each measure is a pleasure finely orchestrated by La Mécréance, a freakbeat combo from Geneva with a surfy hipness and caustic humour.

With this electric quartet, Kacimi covers Gainsbourg without any complex, plays with the yéyé and Mersey beat codes, while giving them a modern and upto-date interpretation. 13 tracks where mid tempo rhythm n' blues are mixed with love ballads suspended in time (5 ans, Le Ballon songe, Dans des Histoires). Recorded in Christian Hierro's Back To Mono Studio, after the album "Gyrophare" in 2020 and "Asile" by The Rebels of Tijuana in 2018, "Couronne d'Ephémères" closes this trilogy in a direct, sexy and unadorned way.
