WENDY MARTINEZ (également chanteuse dans le groupe Gloria, signé chez Howlin' Banana) compose des chansons aux textes intimistes ou surréalistes, en français, sur fond de rock etde pop 70's, parfois 80's. Parce qu'elle aime Gainsbourg, Fontaine, Ferré, Bashung ou Vassiliu. Parce qu'elle veut chanter l'aube, l'amour cosmique, les vieilles filles en fleur, la religion des écrans, par voix profonde.

Sur scène elle est le plus souvent accompagnée de trois musiciens dorés qui portent ses textes vivaces : claviers et orgues vintage, basse langoureuse sixties-seventies (jouée par Kid Victrola, compositeur et guitariste chez Gloria, ex- Slow Joe and The Ginger Accident), batterie-transe, choeurs d'anges....

WENDY MARTINEZ (also singer in the psych girl-group Gloria) is a Lyon-based songstress, whose electric pop songs transport us to a hypnotic realm, lulled by the melodious flow of her intimate, surreal French lyrics. Inspired by rock and pop from the 70's and 80's and French greats such as Gainsbourg, Fontaine, Ferré, Bashung and Vassiliu, Wendy Martinez writes and sings about cosmic love, women blossoming at old ages, the worship of the screens...

On stage, the velvet-voiced singer is often backed by three musicians who grace her vivacious texts with vintage organs and keyboards, languorous bass-lines, trance-like drums and celestial backing vocals...
