Après la sortie de leur quatrième album, le très pop et cinématique "Asile" (sorti fin 2018), The Rebels of Tijuana reviennent avec un EP fraîchement baptisé « La Dominicaine". Une histoire de fille au soleil qui aurait mal tourné. Une affaire enregistrée une nouvelle fois sur bandes dans le Back To Mono Studio par l'ami guru de toujours, Christian Hierro. L’homme est aux manettes pour la grande messe dix ans après leurs débuts ensemble.

Le groupe sort 4 titres garage à la mode de Détroit. Fuzz et esprit de noël sur le bitume sont au rendez-vous, le tout emballé dans la langue de Ronnie Bird. Avec ce nouvel EP, The Rebels of Tijuana réaffirment les influences « yéyé » et psychédéliques de leurs débuts (J'adore ce flic, Un foutu hippie..).

Pressé en vinyle 25cm, leur format fétiche !
La Dominicaine sortira le 20 décembre prochain.

After "Asile", their very pop and cinematic 4th album (end of 2018), The Rebels of Tijuana are back with a freshly titled EP "La Dominicaine". A story about a girl under the sun gone wrong. Again recorded on analog tape at Back To Mono Records by sound guru and all time friend Christain Hierro, 10 years after their first collaboration.

Here are 4 Detroit styled garage tracks with fuzz and street like Christmas spirit, all wrapped in the tongue of Ronnie Bird.
With their new EP, The Rebels of Tijuana are going back to their yéyé and psychedelic roots (J'adore ce flic, Un foutu hippie...).

Pressed as 10" vinyls, their cherished format!
La Dominicaine will be out on December 20th.
